As far as I'm not keen on flying (oh it makes me feel so uncomfortable, there just two things I enjoy: when stewardesses show the safety code and the feeling in my stomach when a plane rises up, butterflies!) I decided to broaden my knowledge about planes and all this stuff. and.. and it's so exciting! today I've spent 3 hours serching the Internet for pictures, facts and curious details related to air liners. Do you know that the process of designing one machine takes at least 5 years? and that there are more than 1000 tests conducted before the plane is allowed to be mass-produced? and there are detailed inspections every few months? and... and... but even bird sometimes falls down.
